Mr. Singh has almost two decades of operational experience growing companies that have leveraged disruptive technologies, launching products, building global teams, and raising over $180mm for various ventures. He was most recently co-founder of Tacit, Inc., a provider of specialized Stored Value solutions and outsourcing services that he launched with ex-CIO of Visa and ex-Vice Chairman of Bank of America. Prior to founding Tacit, Mr. Singh was invited to be a "CEO-in-Residence" at Battery Ventures, a leading venture capital firm, where he explored opportunities in outsourcing and software services. Prior to becoming a Battery Leader, Mr. Singh was a member of the Executive Management team at Commerce One as the Chief Marketing Officer and SVP Professional Services. He was responsible for worldwide client delivery, consulting services, product marketing and management, corporate global marketing, vertical industry solutions, marketing communications and brand management. He also oversaw Commerce One's Product Strategy Committee and Global User Group. Commerce One pioneered the concept of open B2B marketplaces, enrolled over 60,000 businesses that consummated transactions worth over $42bn. Mr. Singh has served on the boards of several of private and public companies and non-profit organizations, including World Economic Forum ITC Committee, RecipCo.com, QL2, Cordys, Line56.com, InterWorld and CommerceNet. Mr. Singh received a B.S. with Honors in Civil Engineering from Punjab University in India, a graduate degree in Civil Engineering and Management from Stanford University, and conducted research in Expert Systems at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
